The Prism Prize is a national, juried award established to recognize the artistry of the modern music video in Canada. Event director and founder Louis Calabro will give an insight into the talent the Prize has celebrated and plans for the 2016 Awards.

How are the latest developments in interactive platforms, virtual reality and other technology affecting the way that directors are able to tell stories through music video? Is it just novelty or do we need to be adapting to the demand by consumers for a more immersive experience through music video?

MIDiA’s Tim Mulligan will present some recent research on music video consumption online, and how the YouTube economy is likely to evolve.
