In the first of our territory showcases, video director, and creator of the Nordic Music Video Awards, Ola Martin Fjeld, and Ja Ja Ja festival director Anna Hildur, introduced us to the best of what the Nordic music video scene has to offer.
The Nordic countries are flooded with creative bands and directors that continually find new broadcasting forums, new financial methods and come up with fantastic ideas that makes music videos an art form in its own right.
Focusing on some of the winners of the 2014 Nordic Music Video Awards, Ola highlighted the value of music videos as an independent art form in his territory.
Meanwhile, Anna outlined plans for the 2014 Ja Ja Ja Festival – which took place in London in the weekend following MusicVidFest – as a celebration of the creativity and culture of the Nordic region, embracing music, film, food, art and more.
